Rail Readers Club Discusses Stationmaster’s Farewell 2017

If you like to read and discuss books, you may be interested in the Rail Readers Book Club. Club members will meet at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27, to discuss The Stationmaster’s Farewell by Edward Marston. The historic novel is set in 1857 England and follows the work of Detective Robert Colbeck as he solves mysteries and murders on the rails. Colbeck and his sergeant, Victor Leeming, track down a dangerous criminal believed to be the murderer, but the investigation changes direction when a canary reveals his secrets.

This is Book 9 in The Railway Detective series. Copies of the book are available to borrow from the Railroad Museum. Please call to reserve your copy.

The museum is located at 351 N. Mesilla Street and is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each Tuesday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday
